Need we say more, if so then an example is in order: if the Hyper-Text Exchange page is located at http://yourdomain.com/links.php, the one-click link should be located at http://yourdomain.com/. If  the Hyper-Text Exchange page is located at http://mysite.yourdomain.com/links.php, the one-click link should be located at http://mysite.yourdomain.com/).

The Hyper-Text Exchange page must be accessible by search engine indexing bots (must not be excluded in robots.txt or meta-tags). Otherwise, what good is it?

Your home page link to the Hyper-Text Exchange page must have a "clean" URL (http://www.yourdomain.com/links.php is clean, the URL http://www.yourdomain.com/viewstuff.asp?stuff=cool%20links&ID=53 is not).

A valid email address.

About this Concept

I have been researching ways to generate free website traffic for the past couple of years. Let's face it, having a website is a lot like a popularity contest. With the most popular sites generating astronomical profits. We all want a piece of the pie and with so much competition even the  smallest changes in details can bring bigger rewards.

To get the visitors, you need to spend a lot of time (if not money) on advertising. AdWords and other PPC ads are great. But unless you can afford spots on some major website or television commercial, you probably won't get a million visitors to your website this month.

Contextual advertisers want to be popular in the sense that having thousands of visitors a week is good for their AdSense earnings. So this is where we'll start.

What we really need is a way to reach the top of the search engine results for a particular keyword phase. We can do this by optimizing our pages for indexing bots, using sitemaps, carefully choosing keyword placement and density. All these things help and there are many more changes you can make. But we want to reduce some of the time involved with advertising and concentrate more on building our AdSense Empires.

Have you ever Google-ed the words "click here"? Go ahead, http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=click+here. Looks like "Adobe - Adobe Reader Download" is the first web site listed. Now open the Adobe website and search for the words "click here" and you'll get "Text Not Found". What happened was that every time a site offers some sort of PDF file for download, it has a "click here" link to download the reader. So the keyword "click here" now points to Adobe.

That's what we want to do with this Hyper-Text Exchange, only faster. Linking your keywords to your site to help move you to that #1 position.

The idea is that most link page are only there for the search engines to find. Users sometimes go looking thru the links and click a few. But they are mainly for the bots to crawl. Currently there are no categories for the various links. But we're not really interested in human comprehension of the data, so what does it matter? Many say you need quality links, out-bound links for other sites similar or related to your website's purpose. But does it really matter since you can't do about other unrelated sites that link to you?

So here is the alpha version, a single page of links from across the board. But it's not a list or directory of websites, products or store names. It's a page of changing content full of keywords that are linked to other websites. Keep this in mind when adding your sites. Write your description about the keyword as it relates to your site, don't just describe your site. This makes it easy to add newsfeeds, PPC text and banner ads. Privacy

I personally guarantee that you will not receive SPAM from participating in this project. I hate SPAM and if you're like me, a webmaster trying to make money and doesn't want to pay for anything, it would be waste of time to send it.

I use the information collected to create the links page and notify participants of changes in link status and link code. That's it.

The link code requests a file from my server (the links) and display it on your webpage. Any other information collected would be a result of the normal logging of a web server.
